The Hays leadership team are committed to the establishment, implementation and continual improvement of a best in class Health and Safety Management System to ensure the Health and Safety of all workers.

- Prioritising the physical and psychological health, safety and wellbeing of our workers
- Setting and achieving Health and Safety objectives and targets
- Utilising a risk-based approach to seek Health and Safety solutions that are practical, effective and regularly evaluated for the prevention, elimination and reduction of associated risks
- Ensuring that our workers are provided with safe and healthy working conditions and safe systems of work
- Proactively partnering with our clients to improve safety conditions for our workers and providing timely responses to work-related matters
- Ensuring that our workers hold applicable qualifications, are competent, capable and trained
- Prioritising the consultation and participation of our workers and their representatives on Health and Safety matters
- Identifying and controlling Health and Safety risks associated with our business activities
- Continually identifying, exploring and implementing new and innovative best practice Health and Safety solutions to be employed by our Health and Safety specialists
- Promoting and implementing early intervention strategies to proactively minimise harm
- Facilitating access to quality medical care to workers when required
- Holding all workers accountable for Health and Safety matters
Our commitment will be demonstrated through the continual implementation and improvement of this policy and our organisation wide Health and Safety Management System measured against our established Health and Safety objectives and targets.
