With this, they are seeking a contract manager that can bring expertise and experience in procurement and contract management.

Your new role

You will be working with the contracts team within the civil construction/engineering branch. Planning, tendering, and evaluating are part of your daily duties. You will ensure that client and business requirements satisfied with regards to time, cost, quality and scope.

Other key responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with statutory and the clients governing laws and city of Brisbane act
• Assess and mitigate contractual risks
• Provide regular project reports to the project team and stakeholders, reporting significant variances against the project budget
• Review and accepts as constructed drawings, undertake close out review of contract

What you'll need to succeed

You are able to determine project risk events, monitor and control project ricks, and assess risk management outcomes. Moreover, you have great time management skills ensuring that contracts are delivered within the set time constraints. Furthermore, you will use your communication skills to provide regular feedback on cost management, timing schedule adherence, quality of work, risks to the public.

Other more requirements:

• Experience with procuring and delivering micro tunnelling projects is highly desirable
• Experience in the use of software tools such as HP Contents Manager, SAP, Project Online, MS Project, MS Office tools, etc
• Tertiary qualification in Engineering
• General construction induction (white/blue)
• “C” class drivers’ licence
