You will be working for an international renewable energy organisation that has just been awarded one of the largest renewable energy projects in the world. They have quickly become one of the key players in Australia's energy transition. Your new role

As the Grid Connection Engineer, you will be responsible for liaising with all relevant stakeholders when it comes to connecting large grid scale energy projects to the network. This role will report directly to the engineering director and provide key expert advice when it comes to power systems analysis and grid connection engineering and processes. This is a unique role to work with an exciting OEM who has established themselves as one of the top names around the world.

What you'll need to succeed

• 2–5 years experience in a power systems engineer or grid connections engineering role

• Strong knowledge of power system software such as PSSE and PSCAD

• Strong stakeholder management experience

• Excellent communication skills

• Understanding of the grid-connection process, including R0, R1 and R2 assessment processes
