HCM Functional Lead role in a major HCM Business Transformation for a key government agency. 12-month initial contract with a high chance of extension. The Human Capital Management (HCM) Program is a multi-year technology-enabled transformation program looking to streamline and transform key people management services across the department.

Your new role

Reporting to the Business Transformation Director, the Functional Lead is responsible for leading the functional SAP SuccessFactors HCM solution design, working closely with business stakeholders and service owners, implementation partner(s) and the other streams of the program to drive the successful implementation of the end-to-end solution, aligned to the service design, transformation and enhanced user experience. This role will lead a small team of BA's and a Functional Consultant, as well as manage the implementation partner.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience working as a Functional Lead working in large transformation programs, ideally HCM and SuccessFactors

• Excellent consulting skills e.g. leading large-scale workshops with multiple stakeholders, liaising confidently and effectively with senior executives

• Strong HR functional skills (particularly in Recruitment, Onboarding, Core HR, Payroll)

• Demonstrated experience delivering successful programs/projects, preferably in NSW Government
