Your new company

You will work with a leading manufacturing and technology organisation based in Sydney. As a Software Engineer, you will develop state of the art networked building automation and digital video surveillance solutions that run on Microsoft platforms.

Your new role

• Perform software engineering tasks to develop product enhancements to market leading solutions for buildings. Tasks include a range of activities across the full software development lifecycle.

• Agile Development Process

• Provide responsive customer support for software solutions developed

• Collaborate with team members to find the best practice solutions for software and processes

What you'll need to succeed

• Tertiary qualification in Bachelor of Engineering or Software Engineering or other equivalent qualification

• 5–10 years experience in commercial product development

• Experience delivering high quality web-based solutions, using modern tools and techniques, including: Web Service Development ( .NET/C++ stack, ReST, WCF, gRPC), Service hosting in On-Premise and Microsoft Azure/any other cloud platform

• Experience creating performant and scalable software designs

• Experience with Agile development and automated unit/integration testing

• Highly Valued: UI technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Typescript, ReactJS)
