Your new role
Join a leading defence company who works across multiple defence business sectors. This business has a global footprint in the defence market and is looking for a sales manager to join their growing team. This is a full-time position working with the Australian and global team in the aviation division. The role will be responsible for improving customer satisfaction for installed systems in cooperation with a team of service engineers based at customer premises, as well as being responsible for growing growth within the business.
Your New Role;- Responsibility to identify and create opportunities for future sales / growth.
- Work closely with Integrated Project Teams and across the wider company to lead and coordinate all aspects of bid activity.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, end users and industrial partners.
- Fulfil a critical coordination role, developing and maintaining relationships with key internal stakeholders
- Implement a sales and marketing strategy with related action plans, circulating and sharing with the Head of Sales, Division and Lines of Business involved or associated.
- Participating in the Life Cycle Management and Business Winning Processes
- Driving bid phases with the integrated project team and engineering to ensure the best solution is identified and offered.
- Participating in major projects, sales and business reviews.
What you'll need to succeed
- Australian Citizenship is essential
- Bachelor's degree in relevant
- Ability to interface within complex international organisation
- Ability to create networks and influence stakeholders internally and externally
- Ability to both address strategic and operational commercial issues.
- Knowledge of MRO activities
- Knowledge of the RAAF structure, practices, platforms and requirements.
- Experience working in a highly secure environment with security clearance
