Data Engineering Lead

Are you passionate about data and cloud solutions?
Hays is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to take ownership of our clients' Azure Databricks platforms and develop robust data and analytics pipelines. This role is pivotal in enhancing our clients' data architecture and repositories to meet strategic objectives. As the Lead Data Engineer, you have the technical responsibility within the team, bridging strategy to future-proof our clients' cloud solutions.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience in acting as a SME across Azure Databricks platforms.
  • Designing, developing, and managing data and analytics pipelines.
  • Creating and maintaining data models to support various analytical needs.
  • Strong experience in building, deploying, and maintaining ETL code and pipelines for data ingestion and analysis.
  • Automating reconciliations and validations, and establishing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Extensive stakeholder engagement and management across all business units.
  • Leading and contributing to strategic directions for data engineering and overall data architecture.
