This next-generation rail business, based in Regional Queensland, is looking for a Maintenance Planner to join their team. They focus on transporting high-quality resources, particularly coal, from the mines to export markets via terminals. Your new role
Develop and manage detailed maintenance schedules and work orders.
Coordinate and schedule all maintenance activities to ensure optimal equipment availability.
Monitor performance against maintenance plans and collaborate with Coordinators, Engineers, and Supervisors.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Implement preventative maintenance and manage small projects.
Utilise ERP systems like SAP for maintenance planning.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders from various departments.
Maintain budget and cost control for maintenance activities.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in maintenance planning in the heavy industry
Strong knowledge of SAP system
Ability to work autonomously and be a self-starter
Ability to DIDO to the Regional Bowen Basin Region (drivers’ licence & reliable transport)

Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
What you'll get in return
If you are successful in this role, you will enjoy a guaranteed minimum of 38 hours per week, working Monday to Friday. Meals and accommodation will be provided while you’re working away. You will receive a weekly pay at an attractive hourly rate, with superannuation paid for all hours worked. The contract starts ASAP and runs until approximately January 2025. Additionally, you will be part of a family-friendly team environment.
