Your new role
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, and budget in line with contractual requirements
- Monitor project budgets to ensure projects are delivered within budget, addressing any variances
- Communicate regularly with senior management, clients, and stakeholders to provide updates on progress.
- Identify potential project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure proper risk management practices throughout the project lifecycle
- Manage and allocate project resources effectively to ensure all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
- Lead project teams, providing direction, support, and motivation to ensure objectives are met
- Ensure all deliverables meet high-quality standards and are completed in line with client and company expectations
- Track project performance, using KPIs to monitor progress against the defined scope, schedule, and budget. Report progress to senior management and stakeholders
- Manage changes to project scope, contracts, or deliverables, ensuring they are documented and agreed upon by all parties
- Provide project-related support for tenders, customer presentations, and business development activities
- Ensure all projects comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies
- Identify opportunities for improving processes, tools, and team efficiency based on project outcomes
What you'll need to succeed
- A tertiary qualification in engineering, or a mechanical trade background is preferable.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining client relationships
- Experience in industrial hydraulics and maintenance is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage multiple scopes simultaneously, navigating challenges along the way.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior management and stakeholders
What you'll get in return
This role is being offered on a permanent basis. Candidates from Perth will be considered; the successful applicant will be expected to work in rotation; 2 weeks in Karratha and a week in Perth, Monday to Friday. Flights to and from Karratha will be paid for, along with accommodation.
Karratha based candidates will be looked upon favourably.
