Your new role

• Review and manage work practices of trainer/assessors so they are in accordance with the statutory safety and environmental requirements, company procedures, and appropriate risk management processes.
• Participate in compliance audits as required.
• Mentor, coach and assist trainer / assessors in the coordination of activities to ensure consistent high-quality outcomes are achieved.
• Coordinate activities of trainer / assessors within area of responsibility
• Provide leadership and direction to employees and contractors such that they carry out their work safely and efficiently.

What you'll need to succeed

• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
• Background in paramedicine or nursing
• Mining experience, specifically with underground
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Advanced computer skills – particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, and previous use of INX
• Understanding and exposure to QLD Mining Legislation
• Demonstrated experience in functional leadership, including strategic planning, project, and program management.
