Your new company

As the leader in workforce development initiatives for our industries, Services and Creative Skills Australia (SaCSA) collaborates with industry to identify and articulate current and future employment trends and develops solutions that best serve the needs of the Arts industry and those within it.

Your new role

You will report to the Stakeholder Liaison Manager (Arts & Culture).
This role is Australia wide with flexible working arrangements due to extensive travel requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend, engage, and note-take as an industry liaison through industry committees and stakeholder forums
  • Build and maintain strong networks across the Arts sector
  • Assist the ongoing development of the Arts workforce development plan
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Prepare and submit briefs and reports to summarise your findings
You will assist the Stakeholder Liaison Manager (Arts & Culture) to lead and manage stakeholder events & forums. Attend events as a delegate and report your findings alongside other responsibilities.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Assisting in driving organisational growth in the context of Arts & Culture.
  • Operating in a team, understanding team skills / capabilities & identifying development opportunities.
  • Time & project management to effectively balance multiple responsibilities.
  • Liaison/consultation and negotiation with government and industry professionals.
  • Previous high-level assistant experience.
  • Experience with or a strong interest in investing, providing a clear connection with an Arts Services shareholder membership base.
  • Experience in media interaction, public speaking and debating with good skills in preparing briefings and reports to government and association bodies.
  • The following experience will be highly regarded: Relevant tertiary qualifications in an Arts /government discipline are preferred.
