Hays is working with a prestigious Melbourne University to find an experienced Finance Business Partner to join their team!
Your new role
The Finance Business Partner contributes to the annual budget process, allocation of teaching revenue, student and workforce analysis, managing audit and legal compliance, modelling and monitoring revenue and expenditure, ensuring that budgets are based on sound financial plans for the relevant portfolios, monitors and updates budget reports and forecasts, undertakes financial modelling and financial analysis using data derived from multiple sources including course, unit, and project costing, and other ad hoc queries/reports as required.
What you'll need to succeed
Finance Business Partner experience
Experience in strategic budget development and reporting, systems functionalities and improvements, project costing, quality control, financial analysis and monitoring
Strong knowledge to provide financial insights and analysis, including the development and monitoring of budgets, implementation of effective financial systems and processes, financial analysis and reporting with a focus on excellence in customer service
Experience with Power BI, SAP and TM1 Cognos preferred
Strong Excel knowledge essential
CA/CPA or equivalent qualification required

$100,000 - $110,000 + Super
