• Develop and implement maintenance schedules for mobile equipment, including trucks, loaders, and excavators.
• Coordinate with maintenance and operations teams to ensure timely execution of maintenance activities.
• Monitor equipment performance and condition to identify potential issues and plan preventive maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and parts inventory.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to procure necessary parts and services.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations in all maintenance activities.
• Analyse maintenance data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
• Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance technicians and operators.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in maintenance planning, preferably in the mining industry is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of mobile equipment used in coal mining operations.
• Proficiency in maintenance management software (e.g., CMMS and SAP S/4 HANA).
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
