Your new company

Our client is a key player in the mining industry, providing essential Caterpillar equipment and support services. They offer a wide range of mining machinery, including excavators, trucks, and loaders, tailored to meet the demanding needs of mining operations. They are currently looking for multiple Diesel Fitters to join their Mackay team.

Your new role

  • Working on CAT HME equipment
  • Routine maintenance and repairs
  • Identifying issues
  • Engine overhauls
  • Component rebuilds
  • Quality control

What you'll need to succeed

  • Trade Qualified – Diesel Fitter
  • Previous experience working on mining equipment
  • Ability to complete a police check
  • HRWL – LF & DG – desirable
  • EWP & W@H RII - desirable
  • Living locally in Mackay
  • Contactable references

What you'll get in return

If you’re successful for this position, you will work in a busy heavy engineering workshop in Paget. You will be working a 9-day fortnight (Monday to Friday & Monday to Thursday), working up to 12 hours per shift. You will be paid an attractive hourly rate + super and be paid on a weekly basis. In this role you will have the opportunity to further your career & skills.
