Hays is excited to partner with a mid-tier Gold Producer who is seeking a Contracts Specialist on a permanent, full-time basis. Working in a complex and layered service environment. This role is offered on a DIDO, or Residential basis and is suitable for someone who is looking to make a difference in an organisation that contributes significantly to the local community.

Your new role

What you'll need to succeed

• Extensive experience in delivering strategic sourcing and category management initiatives.
• Expertise in drafting, negotiating and executing contracts.
• Experience in the mining sector is preferable.
• Use market and economic data sources to support cost modelling and strategy development.
• Prepare recommendation / business case documents for senior management, board approvals for award of contracts
• Current ‘C’ Class Driver's Licence.
