Your new role

As Procurement Officer, you will work alongside the Procurement Manager in the day-to-day activities of the Procurement function and department.

• Sourcing activities for projects, working with internal project team and suppliers
• Preparing RFQs
• Daily creation and maintenance of purchase orders
• Expediting purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery
• Managing supplier's delivery performance and monitoring service and quality issues
• Communicate with internal stakeholders regarding stock availability and delivery status
• Liaise with freight forwarders to ensure on-time deliveries

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in a procurement/purchasing role

• Engineering/Project Management or technical background would be advantageous

• Experience using SAP or equivalent ERP

• Ability to multitask and prioritise
