Electrician

Skilled professional to work as an electrical technician in manufacturing.
Our client

Our client is a manufacturing company that specialises in a wide range of high-quality plywood solutions. Distributor of wood panel, timber, and decorative surface materials. For over 140 years, they have been an innovative force in the timber and decorative solutions industries.

The role:

You will be supporting the 24/7 operations of this busy manufacturing site by working independently and as a team to maintain the plant and machinery on site.
This role is an even-time rotating roster.
  • 2 days on, 2 days off
  • 3 days on, 3 days off
  • 2 nights on, 2 nights off
  • 3 nights on, 3 nights off
  • You will have a long weekend every second weekend.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Complete, support and maintain preventive/predictive maintenance
  • The correct operation and maintenance of equipment and to optimise productivity.
  • Maintain and update all electrical and control system documentation
  • Support the training & development of apprentices

The skills and experience that the successful applicant will need to display include:

  • Class “A” Victorian Electricians licence.
  • Experience in electrical & control systems in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • The ability to work independently
  • Ability to diagnose faults with efficiency.

Salary Range: - 80K base with a large amount of allowances and plenty of chance for overtime
Location: - Benalla, Vic
Position Type: - Permanent Full-Time.
