A Tasmanian family-owned business specialising in the installation of high-quality shower screens, dedicated to providing exceptional service and craftsmanship to their valued customers and is looking for a motivated and reliable Trades Assistant to join their team.
Your new role
As a Trades Assistant, you will play a hands-on role in the installation of shower screens. This position involves the use of power tools and requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality. You will work closely with our experienced tradespeople to ensure each installation meets our high standards.
- Assist in the installation of shower screens in residential and commercial properties.
- Operate power tools and other equipment safely and efficiently.
- Measure and cut materials to precise specifications.
- Ensure all installations are completed to the highest standard.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
What you'll need to succeed
You'll be well-organised and have the ability to think on your feet and use your initiative. You will also have:- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to use power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects.
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
- Valid driving licence.

What you'll get in return
