Work with a specialist NSW Govt organisation in this long term temporary project to lead Year End and Audit financial accounting tasks.

Your new role

Working closely with the Assistant Director of Finance, key areas of responsibility will include:

• Preparation of early close and Year End Financial Statements
• Liaising with auditors on all schedules, working documents and queries
• Assisting the Finance Team with interim reporting and preparation of financial statements

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience within a NSW Government Financial accounting role with hands on involvement in year end and audit processes
• Strong knowledge of NSW Government Compliance requirements in line with appropriate accounting and NSW Treasury codes
• Systems experience in ideally SAP and NSW Treasury PRIME
• Ability to take the lead on early close, audit and year end schedules and statement reviews
