System Administrator/Engineer

Opportunity for an experienced System Administrator based in North Brisbane or the Sunshine Coast!

Your new company

A leading university located on the Sunshine Coast is seeking a System Administrator/Engineer for a 12-month fixed-term contract. You can either be located on the Sunshine Coast or in North Brisbane. In this role, you will have extensive experience using Microsoft Active Directory, MS Entra, and Microsoft Identity Management System (MIM).

Your new role

Reporting to the Cybersecurity Manager, you will be required to provide system administration of Identity Management services and components. Some of your day-to-day duties will include:

  • Providing technical leadership in relation to Identity Management solutions, which includes architecture and design
  • Collaborating with other business units, system owners, and other IT systems administrators
  • Providing technical documentation and analysis reports to facilitate informed decision-making
  • Providing expert consultancy in relation to identity management functionality to a range of stakeholders

What you'll need to succeed

You will have extensive experience in System Administration with a strong skillset in Active Directory/Entra. Your key competencies will include:

  • Postgraduate qualifications with subsequent experience and proven expertise in System Administration
  • Extensive System Administration experience including Microsoft Active Directory, MIM, MS Entra, and SSO.
  • Demonstrated experience with Azure and AWS Directory Services
  • Experience with system administration of Windows and Linux servers

You will be offered a full-time 12-month fixed term contract with a leading educational institution with great company culture, working practices, and exciting projects. Annual remuneration will be $115K-$130K + 17% Super for the 12-month period.
