Your new role
The Project Manager will oversee the delivery of Class 1 and Class 2 residential construction projects with a focus on compliance under the Design and Building Practitioners Act 2020 and related legislation. In the new year, the primary focus will be on Class 1 duplexes. However, there will be opportunities and a need to work on Class 2 developments.
This role demands leadership, technical expertise, effective project planning, documentation control, and a strong understanding of regulatory compliance and safety standards. The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in driving project success by managing construction activities, budgets, risks, and timelines.
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience of delivering end-to-end Class 2 residential developments.
Class 1 residential experience is advantageous.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Cert IV Building and Construction (Building), Diploma Building and Construction (Management) or similar.
Project management certifications as well as a Builder/ Supervisor Licence, preferred.
Expertise in the Design and Building Practitioners Act 2020, NCC, and Australian Standards.
Proficiency in construction management software.
Precision in managing documentation, compliance, budgets, and schedules.
Proactive approach to addressing challenges and mitigating risks.
Excellent verbal and written skills for team and stakeholder engagement.
