Your new role

• Delivering strategic, expert legal advice on investigations, disciplinary actions, and litigation.
• Drafting clear statements for disciplinary actions and providing recommendations to the Commission.
• Leading the conduct of prosecutions and managing evidentiary and legal challenges.
• Representing the organisation in legal forums, including the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
• Mentoring junior solicitors and managing external legal counsel.

What you'll need to succeed

• Legal qualifications and eligibility to practice in Victoria.
• Extensive experience in litigation, particularly within a regulatory environment.
• Proficiency in statutory interpretation, administrative law, and decision-making in court settings.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and exceptional communication abilities.
• Strategic decision-making and problem-solving skills.
