Our client is locally based in Paget. They specialise in providing solutions for mining, industrial, and civil engineering companies, with a focus on fluid handling and distribution. Their reputation for quality has allowed them to offer a full range of products in areas such as motor vehicle body and trailer manufacturing, architectural and structural metals manufacturing, and more. They are currently looking for a field service fitter to join their Mackay Team.

Your new role

• Overseeing boilermakers and trades assistants in the workshop

• Directing tasks and assisting with QA checks

• Welding and fabrication work on various equipment

• Using grinders, cutters, and other hand tools

• Operating and maintaining fabrication equipment

• Reading and interpreting drawings to determine the requirements for fabrication

• Working on water truck tank builds in the workshop
  
  

What you'll need to succeed

• Boilermaker Trade Certificate

• Current Open Drivers Licence

• Leading Hand Experience

• Ability to complete a pre-employment medical

• Be living locally in the Mackay Region
  
  What you'll get in return

In this position, you will be offered work on a Monday to Friday basis, working a minimum of 40 hours per week. You will be paid an attractive hourly rate on a weekly basis with overtime and super. You will be reporting directly to the workshop supervisor and have the opportunity to grow within your career.
