Your new role
There is a requirement for an experienced Community Safety Officer to assist this Local Council on a temporary basis. You will be investigating and enforcing in relation to domestic animal offences and local laws offences. This role includes conducting animal pick-ups and long grass inspections as well as other local laws duties.
Working on-call as well as weekend work could be required as part of the role. Weekend work could entail conducting beach patrols and communicating with the public on the beach in relation to dogs off lead and other domestic animal breaches and issuing infringements when required.What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience working for a Local Council in a similar role. You will have excellent animal handling skills as well as relevant compliance experience. You will be competent in communicating with the public and issuing notices.What you'll get in return
