Based in the inner northern city suburbs, their projects range across metropolitan Melbourne, regional Victoria and Tasmania.
Your new role
We are seeking an Experienced Graduate of Architecture with at least 2 or more years of experience.
- Provide support to the Team Leader relating to Town Planning matters, including but not limited to reviewing & satisfying planning conditions, coordinating Town Planning endorsement packages etc
- Assist in Design Development, provide documentation to obtain Building Permits, and liaise with all required Consultants throughout the process of documentation with the Director
- Consideration to economical construction methodologies & sequencing
- Provide support to the Project & Site Managers, answering queries, and providing documentation amendments or building solutions as required
- Review of Construction Shop Drawings as required by the Team Leader and/or Project Manager
- Ensure the completed development meets the Relevant Authority requirements, in consultation with relevant Departments
- Ensure all assigned deliverables are coordinated and consistent
- Attend meetings as required, including but not limited to staff meetings and consultant meetings
- Assist the Team Leader to ensure the project timeline and assigned deliverables are punctual
- Assist the Team Leader in maintaining documentation standards and processes for the most efficient delivery
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven track record in residential, multi-residential, commercial, community or educational projects
- Experience with ArchiCAD
- Strong knowledge of Australian building codes, NCC, and Victorian planning policies
- Experience and/or sound knowledge of building principles and documentation processes
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Some Contract Administration experience
- Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple projects
- Permanent Australian work rights with no restrictions
