Your new role
As the senior planning officer, you will provide portfolio oversight and reporting of infrastructure planning projects to support future schooling needs. Your responsibilities include developing reporting strategies and tools, providing specialist advice on infrastructure, planning, and asset management, and supporting the development and implementation of a co-design strategy with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander stakeholders. Additionally, you will assist in coordinating strategic implementation and stakeholder engagement, support the delivery and analysis of infrastructure planning programs, and contribute to the establishment of quality frameworks and performance measures.
What you'll need to succeed
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and achieve results within tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of project and program management methodologies, and experience in supporting multidisciplinary teams.
- Skills in identifying and analysing problems and exercising initiative and responsibility.
- Ability to communicate effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, with sound knowledge of their cultures.
