Based in the South-East, my client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team on a full-time basis, to aid in delivering a high quality and comprehensive portfolio of full design and build services to their customers. Specialising in commercial projects, they have an established end-to-end delivery service, coupled with a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility to produce high quality joinery. With over 30 years' experience within the Shopfitting and Joinery industry, they've built their reputation as an industry leader, and as a major player in the fit-out of retail, hospitality, beauty, hotel, leisure and recreation fields. With a strong pipeline of projects in store for 2025, and consistent workflow, they need someone to jump on board and hit the ground running!
Your new role
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
Managing multiple joinery projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets and quality standards.
Coordinating with clients, architects, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Coordinating work between office teams and programmers, to ensure a smooth and timely manufacturing process.
Conducting site visits and inspections to assess project status and resolve any issues that may arise.
Communicating effectively with stakeholders to provide project updates and address concerns promptly.
Ensuring all defects are rectified within time constraints.
Organising deliveries and installations for projects.
What you'll need to succeed
Their commitment to excellence and innovation has established them as a trusted partner in the construction sector, and as such, they are seeking a proactive and detailed-orientated Project Manager to oversee and coordinate their shopfitting projects from inception to completion.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in shopfitting and joinery, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
To be successful you must display:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the Commercial Joinery/Shopfitting Industry.
- Have a strong understanding of joinery techniques, materials and construction methods.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- The ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A qualified trade background in Cabinet Making is highly desirable but not essential.
