Join a dynamic team as a Project Manager specialising in Shopfitting projects in the South-Eastern Suburbs.

Your new company

Based in the South-East, my client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team on a full-time basis, to aid in delivering a high quality and comprehensive portfolio of full design and build services to their customers. Specialising in commercial projects, they have an established end-to-end delivery service, coupled with a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility to produce high quality joinery. With over 30 years' experience within the Shopfitting and Joinery industry, they've built their reputation as an industry leader, and as a major player in the fit-out of retail, hospitality, beauty, hotel, leisure and recreation fields. With a strong pipeline of projects in store for 2025, and consistent workflow, they need someone to jump on board and hit the ground running!

Your new role

Your day-to-day tasks will include:
  • Managing multiple joinery projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets and quality standards.
  • Coordinating with clients, architects, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Coordinating work between office teams and programmers, to ensure a smooth and timely manufacturing process.
  • Conducting site visits and inspections to assess project status and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Communicating effectively with stakeholders to provide project updates and address concerns promptly.
  • Ensuring all defects are rectified within time constraints.
  • Organising deliveries and installations for projects.

What you'll need to succeed

Their commitment to excellence and innovation has established them as a trusted partner in the construction sector, and as such, they are seeking a proactive and detailed-orientated Project Manager to oversee and coordinate their shopfitting projects from inception to completion.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in shopfitting and joinery, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

To be successful you must display:
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in the Commercial Joinery/Shopfitting Industry.
  • Have a strong understanding of joinery techniques, materials and construction methods.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • The ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A qualified trade background in Cabinet Making is highly desirable but not essential.
