Your new role
Inspecting and maintaining mechanical systems: Regularly check and service equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Assembling and installing mechanical components: Construct and fit parts to create functioning systems, often using blueprints as a guide.
Conducting safety inspections: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations by identifying potential hazards and implementing preventive measures.
Troubleshooting and repairing equipment: Diagnose issues, run tests, and repair or replace faulty parts to keep machinery running smoothly.
Maintaining maintenance logs: Keep detailed records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Collaborating with supervisors and colleagues: Work closely with supervisors and other team members to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure safety protocols are followed.
What you'll need to succeed
Mechanical Fitter Trade
Previous experience in the oil & gas industry
Be living locally in the Brisbane Region
Hold a current driver’s licence
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
What you'll get in return
If you are successful in this role, you will secure a long-term position with our client. You will be paid an attractive hourly rate + super and you will be paid on a weekly basis. This position will transition into a full-time role for the right candidate. In this position, you will work on a Monday to Friday basis commencing ASAP.
