• Proficiency in MI tools, including reporting and analysis with MS SQL (SQL Code, SSIS), Power BI, DataBricks, and Python.

Knowledge of organisational performance management and monitoring frameworks and an ability to use these in a local government setting
High level of technical ability with regard to data architecture including extraction, analysis and reporting of data to serve a variety of executive, managerial and departmental purposes.
Well-versed in the development of tools to analyse and report on data for business intelligence, using the most appropriate software (e.g. Power BI, Dashboards, Excel etc.)
Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills and able to develop well presented, informative and functional reporting dashboards.
Advanced SQL and relational database experience.
High level of interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to consult, liaise and negotiate with stakeholders relate to reporting requirements and data quality.
