An opportunity has arisen for an experienced project administrator to join a State Government department in Forrestfield. This role is to start on the 13 January, on an initial 3-month temporary contract, with a possibility of extension. The role involves assisting with project planning and coordination to ensure smooth operations and the development of a comprehensive Project Definition Plan for government review.
Your new role
- Assist in the coordination and support of project activities.
- Collaborate with the project team to draft, circulate, and finalise meeting agendas.
- Record meeting minutes, document action items, and monitor their completion.
- Manage meeting schedules, send calendar invitations, and confirm attendee availability.
- Process and track project-related invoices according to department’s financial protocols.
- Assist with budget monitoring and reporting, working closely with the Project Director.
- Perform quality checks on project documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in similar roles
- Previous Government experience is highly desirable
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Experience with budget tracking, document quality assurance, and scheduling tools is a plus.
