Your new role
In this role, you will be responsible for deploying wireless solutions, configuring firewalls, installing management software for access points, and physically installing access points on site.
You will conduct wireless surveys by visiting sites and compiling reports for clients. Additionally, you will plan, implement, upgrade, document, and complete project deliverables for upgrading virtualisation environments. Your tasks will also involve installing switches, storage arrays, and servers in datacentre racks, configuring remote management, and completing configurations remotely.
Furthermore, you will build new servers, storage, and network configurations for client deployment, which may involve pre-building in the office and then completing the setup at the client location or datacentre.

What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a Networking & Systems Administration/engineer role
- Current Microsoft certification or other related industry recognised or tertiary qualifications (MCSE/VMware/CCNP/RHCE or equivalent)
- Proven experience installing and upgrading VMware virtualisation environments (Vcenter, esxi hosts, VSAN, VCloud director etc.)
- Servers and Storage array experience (HPE, Dell or others)
- VMware and Hyper-V, Nutanix
- AD / Azure AD
- Azure/M365
- Network (Cisco, Palo Alto, HPE or others) and Firewalls (Sophos, Fortinet)
- Advance PowerShell Scripting
- Backup solutions
