We are currently working with one of Australia's leading manufacturers of reinforcing steel and mesh products.
Your new role
You will be responsible for general welding and TA duties, working on a range of projects varying in size and related to reinforcing steel, mesh and reo bar. With the potential for day or afternoon shifts, you will apply your expertise and experience in a dynamic and fast environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Welding / reinforcing and lite pre-fabrication of projects
Assist in daily operations, which may include: handling tools, preparing work areas, and cleaning up after tasks are completed.
Operating machinery and equipment in accordance with safety regulations.
Loading and unloading materials, and transporting them to and from required destinations
Performing routine checks and maintenance on tools and equipment.
Adhering to all health and safety regulations, and maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience in a similar role and/or setting
- Previous welding experience in any environment
- Machine operation experience
- Physically fit and capable of repetitive lifting.
- Strong attention to detail ability
- Have excellent time management skills,
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong commitment to safety.
