Step into a rewarding position as a Return-To-Work Specialist, where you'll provide exceptional support and intervention to workers and employers dealing with psychological injury claims stemming from workplace bullying and harassment. In this role, you'll work closely with the primary case manager during the initial 14 weeks of the claim. Your mission will be to ensure workers access appropriate treatment, drive facilitated discussions, set clear return-to-work goals, and mediate any perceived conflicts between employers and employees. This role is all about making a tangible difference in people's lives, guiding them through challenging times with empathy and expertise.
Your new role
- Champion Workplace Harmony: Use your exceptional mediation and communication skills to resolve workplace bullying & harassment claims that have led to psychological injury claims, working closely with all relevant stakeholders.
- Support Swift Recovery: Ensure timely access to treatment and essential services, aiding workers in their journey towards a speedy recovery and successful return to work.
- Drive Early Interventions: Develop and implement early intervention plans in collaboration with your team to achieve key recovery objectives.
- Collaborate for Success: Work seamlessly with Case Managers, Technical and Injury Management Specialists, and Team Leaders to support effective claims management.
- Engage Across Channels: Connect with internal and external stakeholders through video conferencing, phone calls, and face-to-face interactions to foster strong, supportive relationships.
What you'll need to succeed
- Mediation and Conflict Resolution: Previous experience or qualifications in mediation, facilitated workplace discussions, or conflict resolution.
- Problem-Solving Proficiency: Strong ability to identify and resolve issues by analysing diverse sources of information.
- Drivers Licence: Must have a full driver’s licence and access to your own vehicle.
- Relationship Building: Proven ability to establish productive relationships with stakeholders, understanding and meeting their needs.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to gather and evaluate information from various sources to identify and resolve problems effectively.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication abilities across different mediums.
