Your new role

A new opportunity has come up for a Network Support Specialist to join the Infrastructure team on a 6-month contract. Reporting to the Infrastructure & Digitalisation Manager, you will have a range of responsibilities which include:

• Providing support for wireless, switching, and routing in a factory and warehouse environment.
• Monitor and maintain network performance, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal functionality.
• Assist in the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of network equipment.
• Collaborate with global counterparts to implement global and local network projects.
• Document network configurations, changes, and updates.
• Respond to network-related issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Participate in network upgrades and expansions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.

What you'll need to succeed

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is a must.

• Hands-on experience with network infrastructure including wireless, switching, and routing.

• Familiarity with network hardware and Operating Systems – Cisco Nexus

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP).
• Experience in a factory or warehouse environment is advantageous.
• Experience working with global service providers is a plus.
