Your new role
As a CAD Drafter, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for manufacturing and construction projects. You will work closely with engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet specifications and industry standards. Your role will involve using CAD software to produce accurate and detailed drawings, making revisions as needed, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support project goals. You will also be involved in the transition to automation, contributing to the design and implementation of new systems.
What you'll need to succeed
10+ years of experience in CAD drafting, preferably in the hazardous chemical industry or Oil & Gas
Proficiency in AutoCAD 3D & 2D
Strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
Experience with P&ID and PFD design
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Self-management and output-driven mindset
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
