Your new role
The Digital Communications Officer is responsible for ensuring that the Council's digital channels enhance their communications and engagement with the community, staff and other relevant stakeholders.
Keeping Council's core digital assets (including external websites, the Councillor portal and staff intranet, as well as social media) up to date and compliant with accessibility and usability requirements.
Development of engaging social media content, e-newsletters, video content, apps, and other social media tools.
Experience with CMS systems, e.g. SharePoint
Skills with email newsletter platforms, e.g. MailChimp
Experienced managing social media platforms, e.g. Facebook
Able to write and edit compelling communications content
