A large healthcare organisation requires two Storage & Compute Engineers for permanent opportunities based in Geelong, starting ASAP. Your new role
- Execute a variety of projects and provide support for Business as Usual (BAU) activities for enterprise and collaboration services.
- Manage and maintain systems such as file and print servers, video conferencing solutions, and IP telephony to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Work closely with team members across the organisation to ensure service delivery aligns with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Facilitate effective communication and teamwork to enhance service delivery and address any issues or challenges promptly.
- Administer and enhance security measures and service protection mechanisms.
- Manage network security, email security, and data protection to safeguard organisational assets and ensure compliance with security protocols
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Must have hands-on experience working in Citrix & server virtualisation software, e.g. VMware.
- Proven experience with technologies: VMware, Citrix, VDA, VDI, Storefront, NetScalers, SAN storage, (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, hardware/software maintenance, MECM, MS Azure - administration & migration.
- Some experience with disaster recovery and high availability policies would be advantageous.
- Even better if you have MS Admin/ Engineer, MS Azure Fundamentals / Engineer or Architect certifications or VMware Certified Professional / Design certifications.

- Undergraduate Degree in an IT related field (or equivalent experience).
- 4-5 years of IT experience to have the skills and experience necessary to deliver what is expected.
