Our state government client based in Perth CBD is currently seeking an experienced HR Consultant to fill their temporary vacancy. This is a short-term 3-month temporary contract opportunity.
Your new role
- Assist in resolving employee relations issues, workplace grievances, performance issues, and disciplinary matters in consultation with the HR Manager.
- Coordinate reviews related to breaches of standards and discipline, provide advice on processes, and report findings with recommended actions.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and review of HR policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Support change management initiatives, identify HR solutions, and undertake projects to enhance employee engagement, efficiency, productivity, and workplace harmony.
What you'll need to succeed
- Substantial experience as a human resource business partner, providing a consultancy service on a broad range of human resources and workforce management functions.
- Experience in grievance resolution and investigating discipline matters and performance issues.
- Experience in identifying training needs, and developing and implementing training and development programs.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, policy and report writing skills.
