Hays Technology are supporting one of our key enterprise clients based in Brisbane to appoint an experienced OT Cyber Security Consultant to an initial 12-month contract.

Your new role

You will play a key role within the operations team related to industrial control systems for traffic lights. This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for the administration of Virtual Private Networks (VPN's) and Authentication systems, antivirus, operating system patching and updates, intrusion detection systems, web servers, Windows servers and Active Directory services within a distributed network environment.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Experience with enterprise solutions including enterprise backup, Solaris, VMWare vSphere 6.5, Storage Area Networks, Windows 10/11 and Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022, Microsoft Clustering, scripting and embedded Linux.
• Experience with traffic management systems (SCATS and FLIR), traffic networks, Cisco network skills (routing and switching) and firewalls.
• Skills in IEC/ISA62443 Operational Technology standards.
• Experience with large network and security architectures.

What you'll get in return

You'll be offered a hourly rate based on your skills and experience, between $120 - 140 / Hr including Super and an initial 12-month contract. There is a strong opportunity for extension in this role. You'll be joining a talented team of Cyber professionals on a large scale improvement program.
