Your new role

• Perform welding repairs using MIG and stick welding techniques to fix cracks, breaks, and other structural issues.
• Regularly inspect cranes and other large machinery such as concrete pumps, cranes, boom pumps etc.
• Inspect welded surfaces and structures to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear to prevent accidents.
• Travel 2-3 times per month for multiple-day stints, performing repairs or maintenance inspections nationally.
• Keep detailed records of repairs performed, including materials used and time spent on each task.

What you'll need to succeed

• Extensive experience with both MIG and Stick welding techniques with heavy steel (cranes, concrete pumps, similar sized machinery).
• Skilled in setting up, operating, and maintaining welding equipment, including performing routine checks and maintenance.
• Capability to weld in different positions to accommodate various repair needs and perform mechanical duties as required.
• Ability to work independently as this role requires independent travel 2-3 times per week.

What you'll get in return
