Your new role

The Head of Finance is responsible for overseeing all financial functions, including oversight of all accounting operations, tax management, budgeting, forecasting, board reporting and loan management. You will collaborate with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external, and will demonstrate an ability to improve processes and have direct input in commercial decision-making. Project cost management is also a key element of this role and requires you to work closely with project teams and understand the project lifecycle and accounting requirements. You will have a solid team of staff to support you and, in turn, you will be providing strategic guidance and mentoring to help them develop within their roles.

What you'll need to succeed

As an experienced Finance leader, with strong technical capability, commercial nous and FP&A skills, you will have demonstrated the ability to delve into details and establish a broad network of relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Your ability to provide mentorship and drive professional development opportunities to the finance department is also important in this role.
Exposure to the energy, gas, or mining industry is essential in this role.
