Your new role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Cloud Engineer to manage and deliver cloud infrastructure and solutions for our client. This role is crucial for shaping the business strategy, solution management plan, and roadmap, including product management and solutions delivery to both internal and external clients.

Key Responsibilities:
Cloud Solutions Delivery: Ensure the delivery of client solutions on our secure platforms.
Development & Maintenance: Develop and maintain robust cloud solutions.
Security Compliance: Maintain the security posture of our cloud environments.
Team Leadership: Lead the delivery team, providing guidance and direction to maximize results.
Strategic Input: Contribute to the business strategy and solution management plans.
Innovation: Apply innovative and critical thinking to solve complex problems and improve processes.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively across all business areas.
Client Relationships: Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients.
Training & Development: Ensure the engineering team has the necessary training and qualifications.
Data Security: Ensure efficient functioning of data storage and processes in line with security policies.
Issue Resolution: Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and deployment issues.

What you'll need to succeed

Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Kubernetes, Terraform coding, and Azure.
Leadership: Experience leading a team and delivering complex projects.
Security Clearance: Must hold and maintain a Baseline /AGSVA NV1 security clearance or higher.
Problem-Solving: Ability to apply innovative techniques to solve complex problems.
Communication: Strong communication skills to build trusted relationships with stakeholders.

** Role is open to only Australian citizens with Baseline clearance or higher security clearances.
