Your new role
As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of up to 30 professionals, including specialists in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and Building Management Systems. Your primary focus will be on ensuring team cohesion, organising subcontractors and providing technical support to clients and your team. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing and removing roadblocks, and supporting your team.
What you'll need to succeed
Engineering degree, recognised by Engineers Australia.
Good technical knowledge in electrical and mechanical engineering, HVAC, and BMS.
Experience in running emergency generator tests, full fire tests, and performance qualifications is advantageous.
Experience in hospitals or the healthcare sector is highly regarded.
Experience managing a team of technical engineers, and skilled tradespeople.
Ability to work flexibly within operational hours (6 AM - 6 PM).
