Your new company

Our client, a successful local architecture firm, is recruiting a talented Registered Architect to join their team in Darwin. Projects will involve a mix of Architecture and Interior Design, across a wide range of sectors.


Your new role

As an Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of buildings and other structures. This role involves working closely with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. The role is a full-time position based in Darwin.

Your key responsibilities will be:
  • Lead and oversee projects from concept to completion.
  • Develop and present design proposals to clients.
  • Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure project feasibility.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Ensure all designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations.


What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role you will have:
  • Hold an Architect Registration in Australia.
  • Significant experience in design, drawing, and project management on medium-scale Government and / or retail projects.
  • Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
  • Strong understand of Australian building codes, zoning laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of procurement, construction and building services is desirable.
