Your new role
As a Mainframe Developer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing mainframe applications using COBOL. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions, perform code reviews, debugging, and testing, and provide technical support for mainframe applications. This is a 12-month contract position with the potential for extension based on performance.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Proven experience as a Mainframe Developer, with a strong focus on COBOL.
  • Familiarity with mainframe tools and technologies (e.g., JCL, CICS, DB2).
  • Experience in the insurance industry is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
