Your new role
As Legal Counsel, you will provide expert legal guidance to support large-scale energy infrastructure projects. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will navigate complex legal frameworks, manage stakeholder negotiations, and ensure compliance with processes. Your contributions will directly impact the success of projects critical to energy system modernisation.
Key responsibilities include:- Preparing and reviewing tender and contractual documents and legal agreements.
- Leading stakeholder negotiations to align project objectives.
- Delivering legal advice on project development and implementation.
- Drafting and coordinating government approval briefings.
- Managing sensitive legal information within regulatory frameworks.
What you'll need to succeed
You are a qualified legal professional with expertise in managing complex legal matters. You excel at providing strategic advice and building strong stakeholder relationships.
Key qualifications and skills:- Admitted or eligible to practice law in Victoria or an equivalent jurisdiction.
- Knowledge of procurement and legal advisory best practices.
- Experience advising on large-scale projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
