As a senior member of the team, your role will be pivotal in providing technical advice and mentoring to claims officers, elevating the team's technical capabilities and driving exceptional commercial results.
Your new role
Complex Claims Management: Take charge of the more intricate claims within the Financial Lines/Professional Indemnity (ProFin) portfolio, while mentoring team members on best practices and technical decision-making.
Supportive Mentorship: Benefit from guidance and mentorship from leadership and specialists, ensuring sound technical decisions.
Diverse Experience: Utilise your expertise in medical malpractice, professional indemnity, directors and officers, and management liability policies.
Advanced Claims Navigation: Demonstrate your advanced coaching skills by steering off-track claims back on course with efficiency and precision.
ProFin Expertise Sharing: Leverage your in-depth understanding of ProFin and general claims management to impart valuable knowledge to your peers.
Team Leadership: Act as a crucial team member, heavily relied upon by leadership. Ideal candidates may have private practice legal experience at a reputable insurance law firm, seeking a transition away from billable hours for improved work/life balance.
What you'll need to succeed
Academic Excellence: Holding tertiary qualifications in law, business, or insurance (Diploma in Financial Services General Insurance is a plus).
Inspiring Leader: Prior experience in mentoring and guiding claims staff in highly technical roles.
- Impressive Track Record: Boasting over 2 years of hands-on experience in managing complex Professional Indemnity/Financial Lines claims.
