As they continue to grow, they are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Maintenance Technician to join the team.
Your new role
As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of electrical systems in our material handling automation equipment. Your primary focus will be to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical components, circuits, and systems to minimise downtime and maximise productivity. This role requires a strong technical background in electrical systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on electrical components and systems of material handling automation equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and system failures to identify the root cause and implement appropriate repairs.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop and execute maintenance schedules and programs.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and proactively address them to prevent equipment breakdowns.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance and repair activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and inventory records.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination for maintenance activities.
What you'll need to succeed
- NSW Electrical Licence.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Technician or similar role, preferably in material handling automation or a related industry.
- Strong knowledge of PLC’s, breakdown, electrical systems etc.
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
