Change Analyst

Seeking a Change Analyst on a long term contract within a High Profile Fed Gov Transformation Program

Our client is one of the largest and (currently relevant) Departments within the APS. With significant Digital Transformation Programs already in train, and a guaranteed busy 2025 in store, it is a great time to join this organisation.

Your new role

Working into the Enterprise Change Management Office (ECMO), this role will report to directors within, and ultimately leverage a shared resource Centre of Excellence, with a particular focus on stakeholder collaboration to deliver customised and considered change experiences. This organisation puts a large focus on the people side of change, which it achieves by providing structure and and support so that all Digital Change is delivered in a highly sustainable way.

Some of the deliverables will include:
  • Executing change strategies and deliverables in a hands-on manner
  • The ability to communicate with confidence and influence to a large number of internal stakeholders specifically (some technical)
  • Develop strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Utilising data visualisation tools such as Power BI to help build the narrative around change and then execute
This role will look to commence at an APS6-equivalent Contractor role, but there will be multiple opportunities to develop and grow to a Change Manager remit as the Program continues to grow and deliver.

What you'll need to succeed

The successful candidate will need to display successful experience within the Federal Government sector ideally, and hold an active Baseline Clearance. A sound understanding of both Agile Project methodology and contemporary recognised Change methodology (e.g. ADKAR, PROSCI) will also be required for success. Outside of that, excellent communication skills and the ability to get up to speed quickly and build a high level of rapport will be highly sought after.

What you'll get in return

On offer to the successful candidate, as well as a competitive APS6-equivalent contractor rate of $100-120/hr (experience dependent), will be a long-term contract (minimum term to June 30, 2026 + extensions) as well as work flexibility and a highly accessible office location in the CBD.
