My client is one of the largest Industrial Refrigeration Companies in Victoria. They provide complete industrial refrigeration solutions including design, construction and comprehensive servicing for a wide range of sectors including meat, dairy, pharmaceutical, cold storage and logistics etc.

Your new role

As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating refrigeration projects. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Project Planning: Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation. Project scoping, tender document preparation, cost estimation, tender evaluation and preparation of recommendation reports and presentations
  • Budget Management: Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to budget constraints.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to define scope and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Team Leadership: Manage project teams, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

What you'll need to succeed

To excel in this role, you should have:
  • Proven experience as a project manager in the refrigeration or HVAC industry.
  • Relevant Tertiary qualification
  • Problem-solving is essential – having the ability to address challenges and find effective solutions.
  • Understanding of Industrial refrigeration systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience leading project teams.
